DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO GET MARRIED IN PUNTA CANA

Documents Required (civil ceremony):

  • Valid passport of the couple (original and one copy).

  • Valid passport or travel valid document for your 2 witness (original and photocopy).

  • Original birth certificate of bride and groom.

  • Affidavit - statutory declaration confirming marital status for the bride and the groom.

    • if divorced - decree absolute.

    • if a doped - adoption certificated.

    • if widowed - death certificate of former spouse.

    • if you have change names -deed poll (including divorces who had reverted back to maiden name).

    • If under 18 years old - evidence of parental consent by statury declaration.

  • Blood test or any vaccinations are not necessary.

Important:

  • All applicable documents, except passports, must be translated into Spanish..
  • All Spanish translations, except the birth certificates must be legalized at the Dominican consulate of your country (in most cases, the consulate can make translations).

    ie:

    1. Passport - you need original and copies (no translation required).

    2. Original birth certificate needs to be translated into Spanish (no legalization).

    3. Statutory declaration of marital status (you each need to fill one out and have them translated and legalized).

    4. No blood tests required.

    5. Send everything to All Inclusive Resorts by fax to 514-453-8458. We'll take a look at it before sending it to the hotel and we'll keep a copy in your file.

    6. Make sure to bring all originals with you on your trip - the hotel will insist on seeing them.
